A Quick Orientation of San Diego
The downtown district of San Diego is situated on the harbour and is the main hub of the city, with business, shopping and entertainment centres are all located here. The Gaslamp Quarter is also located downtown and contains Victorian buildings, shopping, restaurants and additional entertainment options.
Near Balboa Park, just to the north of the downtown district, you will find the Hillcrest district, a historic area with expensive shops and restaurants. Mission Bay and La Jolla district are situated on the beautiful beaches of San Diego, while Old Town and Mission Valley district contain some of the city's top museums.
