A Quick Orientation of Liverpool - Liverpool, England
Liverpool is situated on the eastern bank of the River Mersey in the northwest of England. One of Liverpool's biggest attractions is the historic Albert Dock; situated on the riverbank just west of the city centre, it offers bars, cafés, museums and shops. To the east of the docks is Mathew street, home to the famous Cavern Club and a popular destination for Beatles fans.
To the north are the Pier Head and the Royal Liver building, a city landmark with recognisable tall towers and a large clock.
