A Quick Orientation of Leeds - Leeds, England
Leeds is situated in the north of England, in West Yorkshire. It has a compact city centre that's contained on the one side by the River Aire and on the other by a ring road. It's a shopper's paradise, with all sorts of shops dotted around the city, with a concentration in the Victoria Quarter and the Exchange Quarter, which is also home to the Corn Exchange and a myriad of restaurants and hip bars.
The rejuvenated Waterfront is a vibrant area that's home to excellent shopping and canal-side bars and restaurants. Leeds City Train Station is situated to the south of the city centre and the Central Bus Station is east of here.
